Dear Reader:
I’m getting close with the book I’ve been talking about. I’m still finalizing things, but here’s what I can share at this time:
- The title of the book will be, “Dear Reader: A collection of handwritten letters about penmanship.”
- The book will feature an introduction, 11 handwritten letters, a short essay, and a short story.
- The book will not be instructional. It will be a collection of my artwork that has been inspired by my time spent studying and teaching penmanship.
- The book will be available on Amazon as paperback and ebook.
The book should be available by December 15th, probably earlier. I need to finish up the cover art and then format the book for the printer. Soon it will be done and I’ll stop talking about it. Then we can get back to my attempts at emulating old specimens of American penmanship (see Episode 1 of Dave vs the Masters).
