It’s been one week

Another week, another letter, it’s all a blur. The weeks, months, years go by so fast. Seems like just yesterday I was beginning in penmanship.

Dear Reader:

Another week, another letter, it’s all a blur. The weeks, months, years go by so fast. Seems like just yesterday I was beginning in penmanship. Just yesterday my daughter was born. As the time passes, you’d think there would be some sense of accumulation, some kind of distance between now and then. It’s more the faded memories and the lost ones that make me feel like something has happened. The longer you live, the more you’ve lost and the less to look forward to. Despite all that [has] happened, it still feels like a week has gone by. A lot can happen in a week. Not this week though. No, this week will be like the last and we’ll be back here again before you know it.

Sincerely,
Dave
